In paintings, sculptures, and works on paper, the artist Victor Ekpuk unfolds his vibrant visual repertoire inspired by Nsibidi, an ancient system of communication from southern Nigeria and northwest Cameroon. Ekpuk’s artworks celebrate our multicultural societies’ syncretism and comment on socio-political issues.
